The keyboard input is always full throttle (or full steering) but the automatic gearbox would still limit the rev of the engine @ 1500RPM (or 2000RPM for the adaptative). SCS has limited Volvo engines to 2000rpm max and because SCS physics didn't change to 6th gear with gargo so Scania get by.
